The main purpose of the role:

The main purpose of the role is to provide high-quality HR Admin support to the employees in Zaventem in terms of:

  • Delivering a range of  HR administrative tasks  and owning  a range of processes from an administrative and systems perspective 
  • Being a trusted advisor & local subject matter expert (SME) in social legislation
  • Being responsible for the timely execution of payroll input/reporting
  • Being the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees
  • Supporting HR core processes in Zaventem
  • Securing data accuracy and ongoing HR tool/systems optimization

Accountabilities:

- Perform accurate and timely execution of HR administration, HR systems maintenance, provision of employee documentation, information required for payroll purposes, employee benefits administration, and reporting

  • Timely delivery of accurate employee data to the payroll team for the total client population:
  • Ensure payroll team has up-to-date and accurate employee data, including life events, promotions, salary changes,…
  • Check and follow up on special payments
  • Be actively involved in HR/payroll interaction in order to ensure smooth collaboration and an efficient way of working
  • Creating and completing official documents (employee contracts, unemployment, termination documents, etc)
  • Provide service to all employees on all personnel administration processes and procedures. Act as subject matter expert and handle routine queries in all areas of payroll, personnel administration, and social legislation
  • Ensure complete accuracy of personnel files and efficient use of personnel information systems and other information systems to manage and report on employee data
  • Fleet Management coordination (e.g., being the single point of contact for our external fleet service provider)
  • HR tools and systems champion (Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc.)
  • Support the HR team on local Projects in HQ Zaventem
  • Support the HR Operations Team in the implementation of new technology, new ways of working, digitalizing HR, and other HR Ops-related projects

Key skills/ Experience required:

A Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant discipline, preferably in Human Resource Management;

  • Excellent IT software knowledge (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and HR systems);
  • Basic knowledge of local HR legislation;
  • Experience of working in HR administration;
  • Analytical skills necessary to perform compensation and benefits reviews;
  • The ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Exhibits a 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to take on significant challenges;
