For our Client from the automotive industry we are looking for Onsite Support Technician
Location: onsite - Amsterdam
Job Overview:
The Onsite Support Technician works as back-office support and 2nd line for end users within the client company and customers.
The technician will manage support within hardware such as computers, phones, peripherals, and conference room equipment as well as software installations, troubleshooting, and user administration from an IT perspective.
The person will also manage troubleshooting and understanding basic knowledge within the network.
The Onsite Support Technician will report to the End User Services Manager
✔️ Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor, handle, and follow up support cases within ITSM-tool
- Service and support on client installations, workstations, miscellaneous IT equipment, and server administration (OS, hardware)
- Implementations, troubleshooting, software/OS/network
- Act as a single point of contact for escalations to third-line and third-party vendors
- Administrate asset handling within the ITSM tool
- Suggest continuing service improvement within Onsite Support
- Troubleshooting and understanding network administration
✔️ Qualifications:
- Solid experience with support and troubleshooting in Windows-based environments.
- Solid experience in supporting commonly known software (MS Office Suite)
- Experience in supporting IT client hardware and peripherals
- Knowledge of ITIL Framework
- Knowledge in IT Infrastructure
- Knowledge of network infrastructure
- Knowledge of videoconferencing systems
- Knowledge in Mac & Linux client-based environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent mindset of customer handling
- Fluent in English
