We are looking for an Implementation Manager for Rijkswaterstaat.

Your responsibility involves monitoring the quality of infrastructure managed by Rijkswaterstaat. Together with regional services, your department oversees the implementation of uniform guidelines on a national level to ensure the sustainable and efficient maintenance of networks, and to guarantee their functionality.

Assignment description:

The senior implementation consultant, together with product owners, works with content consultants and regional coordinators to prepare the implementation of technical decomposition professionally. This implementation manager advises on the method of creating an overview of the entire implementation and preparing the general implementation approach. Decision-making on choices regarding an effective method of implementation is also part of their role. If the priorities of Agile working are adjusted by the organization, the implementation manager can also supervise other implementations where necessary and appropriate in time.

Tasks include drawing up impact analyses, preparing implementation schedules, and managing teams that prepare for the roll-out. This includes putting data in order in the systems and ensuring that the right materials are prepared for implementation in the organization. Additionally, the role involves developing and disseminating the benefits of structured implementation management.

Demand:

  1. Has at least a completed university education or a post-graduate degree or a comparable education in the direction of Business Administration
  2. Has at least 10 years of demonstrable work experience in implementation management
  3. Has demonstrable knowledge of and experience in connecting different blood types

(directorates/departments/disciplines, with different interests) in an organization

  1. Has at least a demonstrable education in project management at IMPA C or equivalent level
  2. Has at least 5 years of experience in preparing decision-making on complex

implementation processes at the corporate/board level regarding Data and IV (complex means that it is necessary to take into account the  different interests and different stakeholders)

Wish:

  1. Has demonstrable knowledge of and experience working in a large organization (>2500 employees) that is in the process of a reorganization/change
  2. Has demonstrable knowledge of and experience with connections between different movements/assignments, including impact analyses
  3. Must possess the aforementioned competencies and skills (verifiable based on CV, motivation letter, and/or possible job interview)
